There are two ways to gain access to ALS Support Ltd:
Firstly as a private customer. This means the client, parents or other family members will liaise directly with the senior manager at ALS to create a
support package that meets the needs of each individual person.
This will be done by a senior manager from ALS Support Ltd meeting a
prospective client in their own surroundings at a mutually convenient time.
We will discuss what support is required, either support at home or in the
local community, and this may take several visits to make sure we have all the right information to provide a first class service. At no point will the client or their advocate be rushed into making any decisions regarding the support package. All our staff fully understand that we move to the beat of the client,
not the other way round.
The second way is through Social Services. A social worker will make the
first contact to source the care package instead of the client or family
members. Following this initial contact with social services a senior manager from ALS Support Ltd would then follow the steps outlined above to create an individual support package for the particular client.
